ITINERARY:

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Take the day to relax and adjust to your surroundings. Nairobi is a bustling city with a rich colonial history and vibrant culture. If you’re interested in getting an early start, visit the Nairobi National Museum to learn more about Kenya’s diverse culture and wildlife.

Day 2: Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, embark on a journey to the Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most famous game reserve known for its stunning savannas and diverse wildlife. After checking into your camp or lodge, enjoy an afternoon game drive to spot the "Big Five" (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) and other unique species such as cheetahs, giraffes, and zebras. Return to your accommodation for a delicious dinner under the African sky.

Day 3: Full Day in Maasai Mara

Spend a full day exploring the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. The Mara offers year-round wildlife viewing, but if you’re visiting between July and October, you may witness the Great Migration as thousands of wildebeests and zebras cross the Mara River. Take a picnic lunch and enjoy it in the heart of the reserve. In the evening, you’ll return to your lodge or camp to relax.

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, head to Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its flamingo-filled lake, which attracts a vast variety of birdlife. The park is also a sanctuary for black and white rhinos and is home to a large population of Rothschild’s giraffes. An afternoon game drive will reveal the beauty of this park and its unique wildlife, including waterbucks, lions, and leopards. Overnight at a lodge near Lake Nakuru.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi – Fly to Arusha, Tanzania

In the morning, transfer back to Nairobi and catch a flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport near Arusha, Tanzania. Once you arrive, you’ll be picked up and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Take the rest of the day to relax or explore the town. Arusha is known as the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit and offers scenic views of Mount Meru. Enjoy dinner at your hotel or a local restaurant.

Day 6: Arusha – Tarangire National Park[Full-Day Game Drive]

After an early breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Spend the day on a game drive, watching elephants, giraffes, lions, and a range of other animals. The Tarangire River, which cuts through the park, attracts animals throughout the dry season, making this an excellent location for wildlife viewing. In the evening, relax at your lodge within the park.

Day 7: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater

Depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari. This UNESCO World Heritage Site hosts an incredible variety of wildlife within a breathtaking volcanic caldera. You’re likely to encounter zebras, gazelles, black rhinos, lions, and hippos along the crater floor. Enjoy a picnic lunch beside the hippo pool, with stunning views all around. Overnight at a lodge on the crater rim.

Day 8: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, continue your journey to Serengeti National Park, one of the world’s premier safari destinations. En route, you’ll drive through the Ngorongoro highlands, with chances to see Maasai villages and scenic landscapes. Upon arrival in the Serengeti, head out for an afternoon game drive. Known for its vast plains and impressive predator populations, the Serengeti offers the chance to see lions, cheetahs, leopards, and large herbivore herds. Spend the night in a safari camp within the park.

Day 9: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Experience a full day in the Serengeti, with morning and afternoon game drives to explore different regions of the park. Depending on the time of year, you may witness sections of the Great Migration, as millions of wildebeests and zebras move in search of fresh grazing land. Take a break in the afternoon and savor lunch at your camp. In the evening, enjoy a sundowner and dinner as the African night sets in.

Day 10: Serengeti – Arusha – Departure

In the morning, take a final game drive before driving back to Arusha. After arriving in Arusha, you’ll have time for some last-minute shopping or a meal at a local restaurant before heading to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
